About the Achievement & Learning Centre

The program we offer was founded and is directed by a group of professionals from a variety of disciplines who have a common interest in helping children learn more easily and efficiently. Included are psychologists (neuro psychologists, cognitive psychologists, and clinical psychologists), specialists in visual and auditory processing, and educators.

Prior to this program, a number of its founders were involved in developing a pilot version which was offered in over 200 health care offices across the United States and Canada. The results were outstanding. The training had a significant impact on the learning skills and lives of the thousands of student participants. However, the pilot program was designed for a more limited purpose, and many children had needs that were not being addressed. Therefore, another version of the program was developed.

This program was developed to train cognitive learning skills.

To train cognitive learning skills we apply the most recent scientific research on learning. Too often this type of information sits on university shelves and may not be applied until many years later, or the information is not used because it requires one-on-one instructions - something most educators cannot afford to offer. The program we offer is at the forefront of making sure the most up-to-date information is used.

The Learning and Reading Mastery Programs offered through our centre are fun, drug free, one-on-one, and target the cause of a child's specific learning difficulties - providing dramatic results. In fact, the average participant experiences an improvement of 3.6 years in overall cognitive skill development. We guarantee a participant will improve by 2 years of development in at least one of the weak cognitive areas tested during the 12-week program. These improvements translate directly into a child’s ability to perform better in a classroom setting.
